Despite the AI updates, the core CRM experience remains fundamentally different. HubSpot is easier to set up, easier to use, and better for teams that want an all-in-one platform (marketing, sales, service, CMS) from one vendor. Salesforce is more customizable, more powerful for complex sales processes, and better for organizations that need deep integrations with other enterprise tools. AI didn’t erase these differences. It added a new layer on top of them.

HubSpot’s CRM strengths that AI didn’t change

Unified platform. Marketing, sales, service, and content live under one roof with shared contact records. The learning curve is measured in days, not weeks. Pick Salesforce if your team is 20+ people, you have dedicated admin resources, your sales process needs custom objects or complex approval flows, and you’re prepared to invest $100-175/user/month plus implementation costs. The AI features don’t change this decision for most teams. They add capability to whichever platform you already needed.

When AI actually changes the decision
